Religion leads today's Digest.
We'll start with the presidential race.
A new poll by a Christian polling and research firm said Democrat Barack Obama is leading among Christians. Republican John McCain leads among evangelicals but it's a small lead.
The editor of Beliefnet quotes some religious scholars who believe McCain's latest web ad may be suggesting that Obama is the antichrist. He says it may be stoking fears among evangelicals. Read the story here.
