Bloomberg coming to Minnesota

Posted at 4:48 PM on July 2, 2008 by Tom Scheck

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (a Democrat turned Republican turned Independent) is coming to Minnesota to raise money for the Independence Party of Minnesota. Craig Swaggert, who chairs the I-P, said Bloomberg will hold a fundraising breakfast and give a policy speech in Minneapolis on July 25th. You can view the Bloomberg event on the I-P's website.

Swaggert also said there was nothing new on the "Will Jesse Ventura run for U.S. Senate?" front. He said the party has not had any contact with the former governor.
