Barkley backs Favre for Minnesota QB

Posted at 2:23 PM on July 29, 2008 by Tom Scheck (4 Comments)

Dean Barkley, who is running for U.S. Senate as an Independent Party candidate, has a new lawn sign touting his name. The twist is that the other side of the sign says:

"Brett Favre for Minnesota quarterback"

You can view the sign on his website.

Notice Ventura's photo has a higher profile on Barkley's campaign website than his own. Pretty much says it all.

Might be a good year to write-in Hubert H Humphrey or Eugene McCarthy for Senate.

bsimon: How about Walter Mondale? He's still alive and he came pretty close in '02.

Ventura's picture is highlighted because he represnts what a winnable portion of the voting public want.

Is it to much to ask that a candidate knows how to pay his own taxes?
