John McCain, the presumptive GOP nominee for president, will appear at a Minneapolis fundraiser and a town hall meeting in St. Paul today. AP and Fox 9 have stories.

McCain's event can hardly be called a "town hall meeting" when the invitees were hand-picked by the McCain campaign. Shouldn't it be called a staged campaign event for supporters instead?
