Survey USA poll: Voters split on Coleman

Posted at 10:26 AM on June 12, 2008 by Tom Scheck

Survey USA is out with a new poll that has GOP Sen. Norm Coleman's approval rating at 48%. 46% of those polled don't approve the job he's doing. 6% say they're not sure. Coleman is running for reelection this year against Democrat Al Franken.

62% of those polled approve of the job DFL Sen. Amy Klobuchar is doing. Klobuchar is not on the ballot this November. President Bush also isn't on the ballot which may be a relief to some Republicans in the state. The poll found that 32% approve of the job President Bush is doing.
