Obama opts out of public campaign finance system.

He released the statement via a video message. He had previously said he would take public funds.
Update: The Washington Post says Republican John McCain is raising his money the hard way and will have to take public financing. The report says McCain has attended more than 90 fundraisers since March 5th.
Meanwhile, CQ sorts through the congressional ratings to see whether Obama really is the "most liberal senator."
