Congress to Minnesota: Sorry so late...

Posted at 9:32 PM on June 2, 2008 by Tom Scheck (1 Comments)

The St. Cloud Times reports that Congress will take up a resolution honoring the 150th anniversary of Minnesota becoming a state.

The trouble is: Congress is a month late.

Does anyone have any good excuses that Congress can give Minnesota? There are a few here and here but you can come up with some better ones.

C'mon, Give it the old college try.

We had more pressing business to attend to like rising gas prices...uh...well...we didn't really get around to that?...oh...never mind...

Happy 151st Birthday, Minnesota! (See, we were early!)
