This is for sure the final legislative Digest of the year. Lawmakers are set to meet in a rare Sunday session today to finish their work. The House is in at 1 pm. The Senate is back at 2 pm. The remaining sticking point to an overall budget deal is the bonding bill. DFL House Majority Leader Tony Sertich said to expect a noontime announcement with Gov. Pawlenty. Lawmakers have until midnight tonight to pass bills or override the governor. AP, MPR, The Pi Press, the Star Tribune and Forum Communications have stories.

The Health Care Reform package passed both bodies.

Lawmakers sent Governor Pawlenty a bill that would block foreclosures for one year. Gov. Pawlenty says he'll veto it. The Star Tribune and Forum Communications have stories.

2008 Race for President
