Commission members friendly with Pawlenty

Posted at 12:19 PM on April 23, 2008 by Tom Scheck

Governor Pawlenty appointed a 15 member commission to come up with ideas to reform the state's tax laws. At least a third of the members donated to Governor Pawlenty's political campaigns. Another is a former Republican state senator, four (three who didn't donate to Pawlenty) work for companies that are members of the Pawlenty friendly Minnesota Business Partnership and a representative from a high tech trade group. A member of the think tank, Minnesota Taxpayers Association is also on the board.
