Franken will pay worker's comp fine

AP has the story. The story popped up after MDE and the MN Republican Party started criticizing Franken for failing to pay the fine.
Franken's Democratic opponent may also be targeting Franken on the issue. Mike Ciresi's campaign issued a news release last night saying he would be the keynote speaker at a Worker's Compensation Seminar:
WHAT: On Thursday, March 6, 2008, U.S. Senate Candidate Mike Ciresi will be in Duluth Minnesota. Mike Ciresi will be the keynote speaker at the 2008 Workers’ Compensation Seminar hosted by Falsani, Balmer, Peterson, Quinn & Beyer Attorneys at Law.
