The Iraq war hit home in Minnesota in the past 24 hours in a variety of ways.

Legislature

The state is $935 million short, so why is a bill moving in the Senate that would spend $2 million to study a new Vikings stadium? That's what the governor wants to know anyway. Here's the Pioneer Press story.

A health care bill is moving in the Senate, but its future is in doubt.

Lawmakers may ask the Legislative Auditor to look into what's been going on in Attorney General Lori Swanson's office.
