Governor spills the beans

Posted at 2:19 PM on February 22, 2008 by Tom Scheck

The coffee beans, that is. Governor Pawlenty's weekly radio show briefly went off the air this morning after the governor accidentally spilled coffee on the control board. I didn't hear the silence since I was listening online but he did fess up:

"I should just confess that I spilled some coffee into the control board here and now we're experiencing a delay so we can't take calls. This is not good" (laughs).

Will someone please buy the governor a travel mug?

Oh, I forgot to mention that the governor also vetoed the transportation bill this afternoon. House Speaker Margaret Kelliher said she expects to take up the veto override on Monday.
