Last year, Gov. Pawlenty and legislative leaders went bowling with the hopes of breaking the partisan divide. No word on whether the bipartisan group will hit the lanes this year. But the House GOP is hoping to raise the money necessary to knock down a few DFL incumbents by knocking down some pins.
The House GOP is having a bowling fundraiser called: "Join the Seifert's Strikers!" Contributors will be able to have lunch with Governor Pawlenty and then bowl with the House GOP. Lane sponsors cost $1000. That allows one person to have lunch with the governor and four bowlers. The tournament sponsor is The Minnesota Business Partnership.
