More news to sort through today than yesterday, so let's get started:
State
Has the Star Tribune found the cause of the 35W bridge collapse? Only unnamed sources know for sure.
MNDot Commissioner Carol Molnau appears to making the rounds of the TV stations. Last week she spoke to WCCO. Now she talks to KARE.
More bad news on the job front. MPR has news on job cuts related to the housing slump, and the medical device industry.
The AP has a good story following up on the money drug companies have been paying to doctors.
Congress
The House is set to vote on an override of the president's SCHIP veto, but it's clear that the votes aren't there. The Washington Post includes the issue in a piece about President Bush's press conference yesterday.
Pat Kessler does a reality check of the ad that targets Rep. Michele Bachmann on the SCHIP issue.
It seems like everybody is angry at their cell phone company, and Sen. Amy Klobuchar is getting a lot of press for her bill to change the industry's billing practices. The Star Tribune has a story about a hearing on the measure Wednesday, and MPR talked to Klobuchar about it.
2008
Rudy Giuliani is in Minneapolis Thursday morning, and the Fargo Forum takes a look at presidential fundraising in North Dakota and Minnesota. The former New York mayor was the top fundraiser among Republican presidential candidates here during the last quarter.
And it looks like Giuliani may soon have one fewer GOP rival.
Finally
This one is guaranteed to make you cringe.
