Adios to Brownback

Posted at 12:28 PM on October 18, 2007 by Bob Collins (1 Comments)

Sam Brownback is leaving the race for president. It's believed he'll run for governor in 2010 in Kansas.

I'm deleting him from Select A Candidate. But I hope to have a tool on the page soon so that those who take the "quiz" can see all candidates, or just the ones who are still in the race. FYI, he garnered very few "matches" among those taking the Select A Candidate survey. About the same as Ron Paul, and miles ahead of Mike Gravel, who has actually articulated very few positions.

Duncan Hunter remains the most-often-matched candidate in the race. 76,182 people had taken the survey as of this morning.

Meanwhile, Rudy Giuliani was in Minneapolis today. Listen to what he had to say (RealAudio).

Well one major surprise for me on the select a candidate, my Top Pick was the Senator From New York, although Dodd was tied (both with 13), and a bunch of others (including Dr. No - Ron Paul) were 1 point below at 12.
