MnDOT picks a preliminary design for the bridge. MPR, Star Tribune, the Pi Press and the AP have stories.

The House and Senate will investigate the collapse. The Star Tribune and St. Cloud Times have stories.

Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak will detail the cost of the bridge collapse to the city in an announcement today.

A law firm wants to investigate the bridge collapse and wants access to the site.

AP says the Historical Society is trying to determine how to remember the collapse.

Congress

The Hill has a story on New Hampshire Senator John Sununu holding his ground on conservative ideas. It says GOP Sen. Norm Coleman has voted with his party 76% of the time and is more of a centrist.

CQ says Coleman's partisan vote number is even lower this year.
