Despite getting very little sleep over the past few days DFL legislative leaders are travelling the state Tuesday to talk about how much they achieved during the session. After starting in St. Paul they'll hit Duluth, Bemidji, Moorhead, St. Cloud, Mankato and Rochester. Whew.
Not to be outdone, Gov. Pawlenty will also hit Rochester, Mankato, St. Paul, St. Cloud, Moorhead and Duluth.
House Republican leader Marty Seifert either doesn't have the money to rent a plane or is wise enough to want to sleep in. He's just holding a press conference at his office in St. Paul.

Governor Pawlenty and legislative leaders are flying around the state today touting their accomplishments in the past legislative session. They may want to scratch the property tax relief talking points from their notes since Gov. Pawlenty says he may veto the tax bill.

Today's announcement comes after lawmakers made a mad dash to wrap up their work. MPR, the Star Tribune, Forum Communications and Pi Press have stories.
The House debate got a bit messy when as the clock ticked closer to midnight.

GOP Sen. Norm Coleman signs on to a bill limitting emissions.
Coleman also helped secure a grant for Northstar.
A suit against Mark Dayton may proceed.
DFL Rep. Keith Ellison signs on to the no confidence bill regarding Alberto Gonzalez.
DFL Rep. Betty McCollum is working to help impoverished children.
DFL Rep. Jim Oberstar is introducing clean water legislation.
