Franken on Larry King Live tonight

Posted at 12:00 PM on April 11, 2007 by Tom Scheck (1 Comments)

Al Franken, who is seeking the DFL endorsement for U.S. Senate, will be on CNN's Larry King Live tonight. Franken hopes to challenge GOP Sen. Norm Coleman in the 2008 election. Attorney Mike Ciresi is also seeking the DFL endorsement.

I can just hear Larry now: "Norm from St. Paul, Hello."

I hope Al Franken is a little less conversational ,and more informative when he appears on Larry King. There is a real problem in this country, and , in my opinion, it needs to be cleared up by aspirants to public office as often as possible. What I am referring to is understanding the difference between the UNNECESSARY war in Iraq as opposed to the NECESSARY war in Afghanistan...We need those called to Public Service to address this issue before this Senate campaign turns in to race between 'a not too serious guy', and an 'experienced' guy. I want Al Franken to win so that we can begin to address the real security issues facing this country, not discuss the 'morality' of gay marriage or whether tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy should be made permanent .( Any Party that cuts taxes during war is leading this country to disaster.) Thanks, Dan Wargo
