6:30 – 8:30 PM“Global warming is one of the greatest challenges facing our generation. As people of faith, we have a responsibility to become informed about this challenge and push for change in our communities and our nation to create a sustainable future for our children,” said Congresswoman McCollum.
Participants will screen a one-hour version of the new film, The Great Warming, which reveals how a changing climate is affecting the lives of people across the globe. The film includes commentary from reliable scientists and opinion-makers and highlights the emerging voice of America’s religious community in urging action to combat global warming. Following the film screening, participants will discuss what we can do in our homes, congregations and governments at all levels to affect change.
