With Matt Entenza out of the race Republican Jeff Johnson has the most money. He reports raising a little more than $200,000 and he has just more than $116,000 on hand.
Bill Luther was always a big fundraiser when he was in Congress, but he's trailing his two DFL opponents in the AG fundraising race. He's raised about $15,000. Steve Kelley raised more than $100,000 and has about $77,800 on hand. Lori Swanson raised nearly $71,000 and has more than 62,000 on hand.
The feature examines statements made by Minnesota politicians and checks them for accuracy. Based on data analysis, document reviews and interviews with non-partisan analysts, statements are rated either true, false or inconclusive.
