Kennedy hits the airwaves

GOP Congressman Mark Kennedy is up with his first tv ad. You can see it here. It's minute long ad touting his family background and experience. It also includes a subtle jab at Klobuchar (Mark's not a lawyer) and says he won't toe the party line (some DFLers may take issue with that). An official with the Kennedy campaign called it a "significant statewide buy."

DFLers will jump on that, but it's a very good ad.

As a Democrat, I think this ad is great. Kennedy will definitely get a bump from this ad.

"...says he won't toe the party line (some DFLers may take issue with that)"

No, I believe the reality of Kennedy's voting record will take issue with that. Those darn facts - they complain about everything!

"subtle jab at Klobuchar?" I thought it was a not-so-subtle jab at lawyer-senator Norm Coleman.
