MNPublius reports that a judge ruled that there's enough probable cause to forbid former state senator Ember Reichgott Junge from using DFL on her billboards, e-mails and website. The DFL Party filed the complaint because Reichgott Junge is not the endorsed candidate. State Representative Keith Ellison is the DFL endorsed candidate in Minnesota's Fifth.

Actually, the administrative law judge did not "forbid" her from using DFL on her billboards. He concluded that there was probable cause to believe Ember's campaign was breaking the law and therefore forwarded the matter to a 3 judge panel for a full evidentiary hearing. That panel will make a determination after a hearing.
I must admit to being baffled by the Reichgott-Junge campaign strategy. Most campaigns would have stickered over the billboards after the first volley from the party - rather than pursue a dubious political and legal strategy that can only result in bad publicity.
