Funny that we were just "talking" a few days ago about Jesse Ventura's legacy because the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs is out with a new research paper.

Jesse certinatly helped jump start things, but it seems as if at the same time he slowed long term growth.
If in 1998 Tim Penny was the Independence Party candidate and in 2002 someone like Jim Gibson there is no doubt in my mind that this party would be farther along then it is now.
