Hands off my Fluff!

Posted at 9:23 AM on June 27, 2006 by Bob Collins (2 Comments)

OK, I admit it. When a family member heads back to New England, he/she is required to bring back a suitcase full of tubs of Fluff (What? You've never heard of a Fluffernutter?). A politician in Massachussetts stooped so low as to ban it from the schools.

But, "nay," the fans of Fluff cried. And "nay" it is.

The people....united!

Gracious. Nor'easterners actually eat that stuff?! I would think anything stronger than parts per million would send the body into hyperglycemic shock.

I'm with Bob. In the land of hot dish, lutefisk, lefse, and goodness knows what else from the annals of Norwegian and Swedish heraldry, I am shocked, SHOCKED that no one here seems to have EVER even tried a Fluffernutter. Ambrosia's got nothing on that gooey goodness.

And Jeff, the hyperglycemic shock is part of the appeal!
