Poligone

Posted at 10:16 AM on June 1, 2006 by Bob Collins (1 Comments)

A couple of folks who may have missed the note at the end of the "Jayne" entry below have asked where Polinaut is. Mowing the lawn, planing a bunch of new flowers, tilling the big garden and planting the corn, radishes and gladiola, trying to figure out how to keep the dog out of the yellow, beaded irisis, working on the "world's longest deck rebuilding project" (3 seasons and I'm just getting the railings done on the lower landing), trying to figure out how to get rid of the birch leaf miner problem (you can't), repainting deck furniture that's worth less than the paint I'm putting on it, washing and waxing the cars, shampooing all the carpets in the house, washing windows, picking up the in-laws at the airport (today), having a great birthday steak dinner (yesterday), and planning on pushing a kid through high school graduation (Sunday).

I've been paying almost no attention to the news (especially the stock market), although the morning paper (oh yeah, I delivered a bunch of those for a friend last weekend) reveals a smattering of political news -- not a shred of it surprising.

I'll be back on Tuesday.

And you? How are you?

We (MPR) will be providing a direct live audio feed of the GOP convention. This is in addition to a second feed of any special coverage we have planned. Details will be on the news home page if they aren't already.
