Where's that T-shirt now?

The blogger known as Norwegianity (he's a very funny writer) has the missing 30 seconds of a video posted on the Klobuchar Web site. Pretty funny stuff.

Pretty funny – you bet. Senatorial? I don't think so.

Actually, quite human and endearing. I like Klobuchar better after watching this video, and strongly disagree with them editing this bit out.

Bob's next post spells out what's going on, and why frontrunners should be nervous nationwide.

I am offended that a senate candidate from our state would tell this kind of inappropriate joke. I mean we are talking about the U.S. Senate folks. What will be next? Male candidates running for the Senate telling dirty jokes about how when they were in high school their coach made them all wear "nut cups."

What about the issues?

Yeah, I guess turning war into a dirty joke doesn't count. That joke could be considered a parable about how women used to be routinely demeaned but now draw strength from that experience, sort of like folks in the hood n-wording each other.

Except that thanks to Hooters, silicon and the culture of business, women have slid back into wearing "jugs" t-shirts just to make a living.

Personally, I think we've got the kind of reality-based world that's just crying out for jokes to alleviate the tension of just being.

Ford tells jokes too, and Kennedy tries (I've heard some of them and he deserves credit for trying despite not being a very funny guy). And the right joke at the right time will educate more people than the longest of stump speeches.

Hmmm... who IS the funniest politician in Minnesota? On purpose, I mean?

Amy is great at comminuting that she is a real person. When I first heard her joke, I laughed my butt off. It is a saying on a t-shirt folks. It does not disqualify her for the senate to talk about a shirt she was required to put on at her job when she was young.

Al Franken, obviously.

The question is, who's the second funniest?
