Maybe she meant baseballs

We deal with big weighty issues here at the "desk;" none bigger than yesterday's, which was: what to do with this from Sue Jeffers?

We elected Tim Pawlenty to vote against publicly-funded stadiums. Do you think he has the balls to veto that? I don't think so.

But what about the radio piece that Laura McCallum did? Can you say "balls" on the radio? Should we have bleeped it?

I heard it, and I thought it was funny! Sue seem to be a real down to Earth lady who will say it like it is, unlike T-Paw's word games and half truths.

Paul Hackett got in trouble for using harsh language "much more harsh then Sue" but people got over it for the most part and enjoyed that the candidate was a real person.

Jeffers is refreshing. If only she'd run as a libertarian, and not in the ill-fated GOP primary.

Yeah, it would be better if she had a good chance at no chance to win, as opposed to no chance at a good chance to win.

I like it that she is plain spoken, but is that because she's direct or like Bush not that bright (or trying to appeal to the not so bright - love simple sounding solutions crowd).
my warning bells go off when I hear her say that the guys in charge are all boobs, and all we have to do is cut funding and get more efficent, oh and, no funding for public tranportation too.
