Checks and Balances, the blog out of the Capitol, is going to start charging for access, according to an announcement today. $59.95 for a year and $99.95 for two years.

This is for the ability to search the archives. I believe there is still a free version. I don't think this is anything new with C&B.
I don't pay for the information over there. As long as I stop over there every week, I get what I want out of there.
The feature examines statements made by Minnesota politicians and checks them for accuracy. Based on data analysis, document reviews and interviews with non-partisan analysts, statements are rated either true, false or inconclusive. PoliGraph is a collaboration between Minnesota Public Radio News and the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
