MPR News notes that Dayton to take oath as governor today, and the deficit looms:
Gov.-elect Mark Dayton and the new Republican-controlled Legislature have only about five months to figure out how to erase a record state budget budget deficit of $6.2 billion.
Tune in from 11 to 1 a.m. CT and listen as Mark Dayton is sworn in and gives his inaugural address.
As this transition happens, Pawlenty embarks on new phase of political career.
