Minnesota Public Radio | American Public Media partnered with the National Center for Media Engagement to host a free Google Broadband Initiative Educational Webinar.
Sounds like jargon? Then you should attend. Google plans to build high-speed fiber-optic broadband networks (read: really, really, amazingly fast Internet access) in a few U.S. communities later this year, and they're accepting applications from cities and neighborhoods through March 26, 2010.
To support communities - and yes, individual Internet users like you - at our Webinar expert guests will speak about the importance of broadband, the Google application process and share tips for submitting a successful proposal.
Register now. It is free, it will be informative, and you'll get a chance to ask questions or consider the impact of high speed Internet access on your community.
