Classical MPR notes the upcoming gathering Michael Steinberg Remembered:

Michael Steinberg will be celebrated on Sunday, October 4, 7:30 p.m., at Ted Mann Concert Hall, as musicians and writers merge music with the written word. The event is open to the public.

This is an exceptional way to celebrate a musical life. As I revisit our online collection of features, photos, and audio, I expect that those who cannot attend the event may be able to pause in place and open a bit of his life using the web resources.
