I noticed that Minnesota ice anglers get extra fishing opportunities thanks to a little mix-up:
The fish house and shelter removal deadline for the southern two-thirds of the state is now Monday, March 2, rather than Sunday, March 1, as originally printed in the 2008 regulations.
What is one day? Maybe an extra afternoon on the ice, maybe a few more filets in the freezer. But for the Minnesotans who aren't lake bound during the winter months, ice fishing is hard to understand. Do you go ice fishing? Drop us some photos of your catch or your ice house.
