What is your stand on electronic voting?

electronic vote poll tally.jpg MPR's Steve Mullis wondered what the ballots tell us, and whether or not this makes the case for Minnesota to use all-electronic voting system. The poll is still open, but I've shared the results logged as of 9:30 a.m. CT November 21, 2008.

Seeking personal perspectives on Harvey Milk

Posted at 4:05 PM on November 21, 2008 by Julia Schrenkler

MPR News seeks your recollections of Harvey Milk:

Harvey Milk made a name for himself in San Francisco during the 1970s. Although he served only 11 months of his term on the city's Board of Supervisors (not his fault -- he was assassinated), he managed to defeat Proposition 6, which would have removed gay teachers from California public schools, and pass a historic gay rights ordinance in San Francisco.
While some of the questions are meant to discover people who either knew Milk or lived in San Francisco at the time, I'm very intrigued by this one:
How did Harvey Milk change San Francisco, our country, or even Minnesota or your life?
I have to wonder what the answers will say about our political climate, and how we're connected to - or separated from - other states. Share your perspective with us.
