Our Public Insight Journalism analysts want to know what women are thinking about the workforce. From the response form:
Women and work. It's always been a topic that elicits fervent feelings on all sides, particularly among women. But we want to learn more about the issues women consider, their ultimate decisions on whether to work outside the home, and how those decisions play out over time in light of current events (Think headline grabbers: "financial crisis," "economic downturn" and "Sarah Palin").
Have you changed your work situation in the past couple of years? Have you thought about leaving your job -- or returning to one? Why or why not?
Considering the current state of our economy and the bailout flurry, I wonder if anything has changed for many women...yet.
Women, share your insights: What is keeping you at the job, tempting you to leave, or pushing you back into the workforce?
