Meteorologist Craig Edwards advises you to phone your friends in Omaha because strong storms are moving in, and notes the path may find their way southern Minnesota. Edwards also points out:
"Lives have been saved by citizens paying attention and seeking shelter during severe weather. Keep your NOAA Weather Radio handy."
Considering the recent damage in Hugo and elsewhere, maybe that's just good common sense.
