Midmorning today is a mix of politics and music

Posted at 8:41 AM on April 18, 2008 by Julia Schrenkler

Midmorning has you covered for both politics and art today. At 9:06 a.m. CT, the mayors of St. Paul and Minneapolis are in to discuss issues impacting the Twin Cities. Immediately following that The Current DJ Mark Wheat and Bob Fuchs, the retail music manager at the Electric Fetus in Minneapolis will be in to talk about independent music stores and vinyl. Don't be shy about calling in or using our online send a question form, or mull over the topics and submit a commentary.

Take us home

We all have at least one reason to love our home, no matter how we define it. Bob Collins is looking for your home-memories:

I'm kicking around another presentation idea. Your house. Remember when our houses were more than bank accounts or the thing that kept us awake at night? Remember when they were the place where we kept our memories, the memories that made us say "I could never sell this place"? Me too. Look for an invitation to be part of that presentation over the weekend or Monday. The requirements: You need memories, maybe a digital camera, and the willingness to have someone shove a microphone in your face.

Contact Bob and invite him over, or at least tell him what you love about your home.
