What are your experiences with airport security screening?

Bob Collins has a question:

"Have you been through an airport screening system lately? How much of a hassle was it, really?"

The head of the Transportation Security Administration has been directed to think outside the box (Bob links to the CNN story) but what exactly does that look like?
