For better or worse, celebrities endorse politicians

MPR's Nicki Tundel is adding up the celebrity endorsements. Since there's plenty of attention on Oprah for Obama, let's look at the ones more likely to make one's head tilt in consideration:

* Chuck Norris palm strikes his support for Huckabee
* Donny and Marie for Romney
* Pat Sajak gives Fred Thompson the nod

Oh, and there's so many more in Tundel's feature. She also notes:

When asked if a celebrity endorsement would influence the way they vote, 78 percent of Americans said no.

Hmmm I'd like to see the language of the question. I suspect that most of us wouldn't admit a celebrity endorsement would cement our vote for a candidate, but I can imagine certain celebs might make some folks vote against a particular politician.
