Some folks resolve to lose weight, quit smoking, or save money. MPR's Nanci Olesen suggests a New Year's resolution: Eat together as a family.
She points out that you don't have to have life-changing, tear-wrenching or inspiring conversations at each meal, but that the simple act of spending a little time together [My recommendation is you turn off the cell phone] builds relationships because you're simply present.
