Bob Collins blogs the entry to watch today as he wonders, What's China got? While China dominates the news, Collins cracks it open in his own way. "What is the U.S. lacking?" might as well be the subtitle, because we should rotate the perspective on our own national identity.

Oh, the weather story isn't over. This is Minnesota and we're all climate all the time. According to MPR weather (at time of writing) Duluth, Dodgeville, and Virginia all can expect light snow.
To celebrate the storm that blew in earlier, The Current's Steve Seel assembled some nice music for enjoying the snow. Of course he's open to your suggestions, so read and comment.
