What do you know of Charles Simic, U.S. Poet Laureate?
Gather regular Edward Nudelman published this article about Simic to MPR's Minnesota Readers discussion group. I found it to be a great introduction to the poet and his work. Beyond a brief bio and bibliography, Nudelman actually highlights examples of Simic's poems in a way that gives the casual poetry reader a chance to get to know Simic.
