NPR's Project Song: Sincerely flattering
Posted at 5:19 PM on November 5, 2007 by Bill Wareham (0 Comments)
After hearing NPR hosts referring repeatedly to the network's new music site today, I had a look. Lots of good stuff there.
But what really caught my eye was something called Project Song. There's only one installment, but the gist of it appears to be this: give a songwriter six photos, six words or phrases, 48 hours and a studio, then see what kind of song said artist comes up with.
Very interesting. And very similar to MPR News' songwriting experiment Songs From Scratch.
