Midday: Former Star Tribune reporters and Big Ideas

At 11 a.m., longtime Star Tribune reporters Eric Black and Sharon Schmickle will be in the MPR studios to talk about their newspaper careers covering national and international news. Both left the paper in June.
At noon, highlights of the "BIG IDEAS" presented at the opening of the Aspen Ideas Festival going on this week in Aspen Colorado. You'll hear very short speeches by a large number of people who presented their "big idea" to other participants in the festival.
