Posted at 8:45 AM on July 26, 2007 by Bill Wareham
At 11 a.m., Midday's guest host, Mike Mulcahy, will talk with Scott Cullen of the Network for New Energy Choices and Jim Kleinschmit of the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy about corn ethanol and why we need to shift our focus towards other biofuels in the search for energy alternatives.
At noon, Midday will air a speech from Laura Bush at National Press Club. The first lady speaks about her recent trip to Africa and the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS relief.
