10 finalists make Talent Quest cut

Back in March I wrote about the Public Radio Talent Quest, an unusual effort to find the voices who will hopefully delight the next generation of public radio listeners. The field of more than 1,400 was recently whittled down to 10. You can find out all about them, and the competition, here.
By one measure, at least, the process has been a success - only one of the finalists currently has a job in public radio, so the horizons appear to be broadening.
