Special report on Virginia Tech shooting
Posted at 1:34 PM on April 16, 2007 by Bill Wareham (1 Comments)
By now, you're probably aware of the shooting massacre earlier today at Virginia Tech. At 2 p.m. MPR News stations will be airing a special report from National Public Radio on the incident, in which a gunman killed at least 21 30 people.
(If you're not near a radio, you can always stream the audio here.)

It will be interesting to see what kind of weapons the shooter or shooters had, and if the media thinks such an inquiry is even relevant. How long before Americans realize that the ready availability of guns in this country enables such slaughter?
