Some items of interest

Posted at 3:52 PM on March 20, 2007 by Bill Wareham

I've been off for a few days, and am just about caught up on things, so hopefully I can increase the frequency of posts here.

Here are a couple of things that caught my eye:

Minnesota Monitor takes a look here at the local dailies putting ads in places that had been reserved for editorial content.

The Boston Globe (er, Boston.com as it's known in the "new" media world) has a piece on NPR's quest for a younger audience.

And last, but by no means least, Public Radio International announces it is planning a morning news program that will compete directly with NPR's Morning Edition.
