Midday: A plan "B" for Iraq and Schlesinger tribute

Posted at 9:00 AM on March 2, 2007 by Bill Wareham

MIDDAY for Friday, March 2:
At 11 a.m., University of Minnesota professor Colin Kahl will be Gary Eichten's guest to analyze the war in Iraq. Kahl called for a national debate on a "Plan B" for Iraq in a recent article in Foreign Policy.

One of the nation's most prominent historians, Arthur Schlesinger, Jr. died Wednesday. At noon, you'll hear a tribute to Schlesinger that was held at the JFK Library in Boston back in November. Historians Doris Kearns Goodwin, Alan Brinkley and Sean Wilentz spoke at the event.
