Midday: Presidential politics and Jimmy Carter at Brandeis

At 11 a.m., political scientist Steven Smith discusses how the war in Iraq and the 2008 presidential election are shaping the political landscape in Washington. Smith directs the Weidenbaum Center on the Economy, Government and Public Policy at Washington University in St. Louis.
At noon, hear Former President Jimmy Carter's appearance this week at Brandeis University in Massachusetts. Carter faced pointed questions about his controversial new book Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid from the students at the historically Jewish University.
