Midday: Loads of candidates and a look at Arab media

What you'll hear at 11 a.m. on Midday on Wednesday will depend on what MPR station you're listening to:

On most MPR stations it will be the 3rd district candidates for Congress. Republican incumbent Jim Ramstad and his DFL challenger Wendy Wilde will be in the studio with Gary Eichten.
In NW Minnesota you'll hear the 7th district candidates for Congress - incumbent DFLer Collin Peterson and his challenger Michael Barrett.
11:30-- on all stations-- the 2nd district candidates for Congress will be in the MPR studios with Gary Eichten-- Incumbent Republican John Kline and his challenger Coleen Rowley.

At noon - Today is the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Al Jazeera broadcasting network.... on MIDDAY you'll hear a documentary by David Brancaccio of KQED radio called "24/7: the Rise and Influence of the Arab Media."
